Clio hybrid oil pressure warning

My 2020 Renault Clio hybrid is giving me grief. It has 235796 km on the clock. The oil pressure warning lamp keeps lighting up, accompanied by awful mechanical noises from the engine. I've checked the engine oil level; it's fine. There's no obvious oil leakage. I even did an oil change recently, but no such luck. Could this be the beginning of the end? Any suggestions or shared experiences?

Sounds eerily familiar. I had the same issue with my Clio. Was the noise like a bag of spanners being thrown around?

Yes, exactly! Like a metallic orchestra of destruction. What was the cause of your problem? And how painful was the cure?

Yep, sounds like the oil pump. It wasn't pumping enough oil, causing the low pressure and the noise you describe. Get it to a workshop ASAP. Continuing to drive it like that will cause more damage. The workshop confirmed defect in the oil pump and quoted 755€ for the whole repair.

Thank you for your advice. It turns out it was indeed the oil pump. Got it replaced, and the Clio is running smoothly again. The final bill was 755€, so your estimate was spot on. I appreciate your help!
