Clio radio reception issue

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2006 Renault Clio (gasoline engine). The radio reception is completely shot. I keep getting an error message on the display, and sometimes the whole audio system just cuts out. I've checked the fuses and they seem fine. Anyone else experienced this?

Hmm, radio issues can be tricky. Have you noticed if it's worse in certain areas, like near buildings or power lines? And does it only affect FM, or AM as well? Could be a grounding issue with the antenna, maybe?

Good point about the grounding. Where exactly should I check for the antenna ground? Is there a common spot on the Clio where they tend to corrode or come loose?

Honestly, I'm not sure about the Clio specifically. I had similar issues on an older car, and it turned out to be a bad antenna. Given the error message and the complete audio failure, it might be worth getting it checked by a workshop. I wouldn't mess with it too much myself.
