Clio seat heater failure

Evening. My 2004 Renault Clio diesel, with 218264 km, has a seat heater problem. It doesn't get warm at all. I scanned it and there's an error relating to the heating element. Thinking it's probably the heating mat itself. Anyone had this?

Oh no, that's annoying! When you say it doesn't get warm, do you mean not even a little bit? Does the light on the switch come on?

Yeah, the light comes on, but no heat at all. Stone cold. So I'm guessing that confirms the heating mat itself is gone?

Sounds like it. Could be a wiring issue, but much more likely the mat itself has failed, especially with that mileage. A workshop will know for sure. I wouldn't fancy trying to fix it myself! Ouch, that's gonna sting!

Thanks for the input, appreciate it. Took it to the workshop; as suspected, the heating mat was defective. Cost me 390€ to get it sorted, parts and labour. Now at least my bum will be warm this winter!
