Clio turn signal error

I'm getting a turn signal lamp error on my 2000 Renault Clio with a gasoline engine. The odometer reads 181655 km. There's an error stored, a message on the speedometer, and a general fault in the lighting. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection.

It's just the left turn signal lamp. Brake lights and headlights are fine. What symptoms did you have?

Ah, the left turn signal... Sounds familiar. Mine did the same – error message popping up randomly, and sometimes the signal wouldn't blink. Turned out to be a dodgy connection, like you suspect. Honestly, I'd just take it to a workshop. Electrics can be a pain, and you don't want to short something.
