Cruise control and turn signals work. No recent work either. Where should I inspect the wiring and plugs? Any known Clio problem areas?

Since the other functions on the harness work, and you've had no recent work, it points to the wiper switch or a break in the wiper wires. I wouldn't probe too deeply without tools. A workshop might be safer and more efficient to diagnose before causing more issues.

I took the Clio to a local workshop. It was a defective plug connection to the wiper motor. The repair cost 95€. Thanks for the help!

Interesting. Have you checked the cruise control and turn signals? They often share wiring. Any recent work that might have disturbed wiring near the steering column? A faulty wiper switch could be it, but check the wiring first.
