Thanks. I checked the connector a bit, but I'll look closer. Could a bad ground cause this?

A faulty ground definitely could. It's like a blocked riverbed, causing current issues. Check all wiring. If it's too much, a workshop might be best.

Thanks. After checking the wiring, I had a workshop do the repairs. Cost was 95€, which is what I expected.

Sounds like a wiring gremlin. The Clipper's older, so corrosion could be a factor. Have you checked the headlight switch connector for damage or corrosion? Sometimes it's just a loose connection.
