Clipper transmission oil pressure fault

Thanks for the tip! It is mostly intermittent, especially noticeable when the engine is cold. Where exactly did you see the leaks on your Clipper, and how did you confirm it was the oil pressure sensor specifically? What did you do to fix it?

Mine was leaking very slightly around the seal of the pressure switch itself on the transmission. I only found it because I wiped everything clean and then drove it a short distance. You'll probably need to get it properly diagnosed by a mechanic to confirm the sensor for sure though. If it's intermittent, it could be a loose connection or a faulty sensor that's on its way out. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks so much for the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. Gearbox oil level was a bit low, and the pressure switch seal was leaking. They replaced the seal and topped up the oil, reset the error codes and all symptoms disappeared. Cost me 365€ – but I'm happy to have it sorted! Cheers!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Clipper. Is it consistently happening, or is it intermittent? For me, it turned out to be low gearbox oil. Even though it seems fine, sometimes it's just enough to throw things off. I would check for any visible leaks around the gearbox, pressure sensor, or lines. The pressure sensor itself could also be faulty. It's worth investigating!
