CMAX Air Suspension Problem

I'm writing to ask about a problem with my 2010 Ford CMAX, gasoline engine. It won't lift and is leaning to one side. There's an error message on the speedometer, an error stored, and the ride is really bumpy. It has 113338 km on it. Could this be the air suspension bellows valve?

Hey! I had a similar problem with my CMAX. What you're describing sounds like a suspension issue. Air suspension can be tricky. An 'air suspension bellows valve' controls the airflow into the air springs, which act like shock absorbers and keep your ride smooth. If the valve is faulty, it could explain why your car can't lift and is leaning. I would check the air spring, since yours might be leaking.

Thanks! Could you tell me what caused the issue in your case? Was it the air suspension bellows valve, and how did you fix it?

Yeah, in my case, it was the air suspension airbag valve, or 'air spring'. I tried looking myself, but without the right tools, it was hard to diagnose. I had to take it to a workshop. They confirmed the defective valve and replaced it. If you aren't familiar with the pneumatic suspension system, I'd recommend having a mechanic take a look. It could prevent further damage.

Thanks for the help. I'll have a workshop inspect the air suspension system. I got a quote of 590€ to replace the valve. Thanks again!
