Colorado Blower Failure
Summary of the thread
The 2014 Chevrolet Colorado diesel experienced a failure with the fresh air blower, which was not functioning and had an error code related to the blower. Initial checks of the fuses showed no issues, leading to suspicion of the blower motor itself. A suggestion was made to inspect the electrical wiring for loose or corroded connectors. Ultimately, the problem was confirmed to be the blower motor, which was replaced at a workshop, resolving the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! I didn't check the wiring harness directly at the blower motor, I'll take a look. Was your error code also specifically pointing to the blower motor, or something more general related to the climate control?

The error was pretty specific to the blower motor circuit. I'd say take it to a reputable workshop; these things can be tricky to diagnose correctly, and you might save money in the long run.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a local workshop, and you were right – it was the blower motor. They replaced it, and the total cost was 365€. Now the air conditioning is working perfectly again!

I had a similar issue with my Colorado. The HVAC system acted up, and the blower wouldn't kick on. Error code too. Did you check the electrical wiring going to the blower motor? Sometimes those connectors get loose or corroded.
