Connectivity problems with smartphone and GPS in the Seat Leon Diesel 2011

Dear community, I have a problem with my Seat Leon Diesel from 2011, which now has 95295 km on it. Recently I can no longer connect my smartphone and the GPS is also acting up. Has anyone had similar problems with connectivity? And how did the mechanic fix it if you had it repaired? I had a really bad experience at the mechanic last time and now I'm a bit worried. Thanks for your tips!

Hey, I had a similar problem with my 2014 Seat Ibiza. My smartphone suddenly stopped connecting and my GPS also went crazy. It was really annoying, because the sat nav was my lifesaver, especially on longer journeys. When I went to the garage, it turned out that there was a problem with the main board of the infotainment system. So it's a serious problem, but nothing that a competent mechanic can't fix. They had to replace the unit and everything worked fine afterwards. Hope this helps you!

Hey, thanks for your reply! Glad to hear that your infotainment system is working again. Do you happen to remember the cost of the repair? And has a similar problem occurred again since the repair? I'm really curious to know whether this was an isolated incident with my Leon or whether I should be prepared for it to happen again. Thank you!

Hey, of course I remember the costs! It cost €75 to repair the faulty software version on my paired device. That wasn't exactly a penny, but since then everything has been running smoothly again, even the connectivity has been fully restored. So, don't worry, since the visit to the mechanic, the problems have been resolved and there have been no more similar faults. Of course, I can't make any promises about your Leon, but I hope it was just a one-off problem. Fingers crossed!

Hey, it's really cool that you took the time to explain all this to me! Your experience sounds really encouraging. And the cost of €75 is a bit more than I would have expected, but if the problem is fixed afterwards, then it's worth it. I really hope that this is an isolated case with my Leon and that I can continue to drive without any problems. Thanks again for your help, I really appreciate it. It's great that we can help each other out. Hi there!
