Corolla ABS failure

I'm experiencing an issue with my 2022 Toyota Corolla hybrid at 53261 km. The ABS lamp lights up, leading to traction problems and a complete failure of the ABS system. Could a defective control unit be the culprit behind this speed signal fault? Has anyone encountered something similar? I suspect it might be related to the ECM or a faulty ABS sensor, possibly even affecting the transmission's communication. Any insights would be appreciated before I take it in.

Hey! That sounds rough, man. I had something similar happen in my Corolla. Not sure which year mine is (201x), but the symptoms sound almost identical. I was getting ABS warnings all the time. Was your speedometer acting funky too? 'Cause mine was jumping all over the place. It's probably the sensor gone bad. What's the error code it shows? I'm quite curious.

Yeah, complete ABS failure, the whole shebang. It was super dodgy on the roads, especially in the wet. I was bricking it, man. Initially, I thought it might be a wheel speed sensor, but the mechanic diagnosed it as a faulty ABS control unit. So, yeah, different from you, but the symptoms sound very similar. I suggest you take it to a workshop.
