Corolla climate control failure

Hey, I have a 2021 Toyota Corolla hybrid with about 92k km on it. The climate control panel has stopped working. The error memory stored an error, the heating isn't blowing hot air, and the AC won't turn on at all. Any ideas? Could it be the blower motor?

The symptoms you describe do suggest a fault within the HVAC system. Given that you mentioned an error code, it would be beneficial to retrieve the specific code to narrow down the potential causes. The low heating output and the non-functional air conditioning system might point towards a defective electrical connector or wiring issue affecting the climate control panel itself. Have you checked the relevant fuses and relays related to the HVAC system?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't checked the fuses or relays yet, I'm not really sure where they are located. Is there an easy way to check the electrical connectors?

Given your technical limitations, I strongly advise consulting a qualified technician to perform a comprehensive diagnosis. While it is possible that the connectors are defective, a proper inspection with diagnostic tools is necessary to confirm this and prevent any inadvertent damage to the vehicle's electrical system. It is possible that the cable or plug connection of the component is defective.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. I took it to a local workshop, and you were right - it was a defective connector. They fixed it for 95€ and now it's working perfectly.
