Corolla Fuel Pressure Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Toyota Corolla hybrid with 43,930 km exhibited a check engine light, rough engine performance, stalling, and jerking during acceleration. The OBD codes indicated a defective fuel pressure sensor, raising the possibility of a bad connection. Upon inspection at a workshop, the issue was traced to a corroded connector, which was cleaned and the sensor replaced, resolving the problem.

Yeah, I visually inspected the connector, but didn't see anything obvious. What exactly should I be looking for? Could a slightly loose connection really cause all these issues?

A loose or corroded connection can definitely cause those issues. My problem was corrosion inside the plug. Best get it checked in a workshop, they can test the sensor and wiring.

Thanks for the insight! Took it to a workshop, and you were spot on - corroded connector. They cleaned it up, and replaced the sensor, all for 95€. Runs like new now!

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my old 2018 Opel Insignia. Same error code. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the sensor?
