Corolla power window failure

Sounds familiar. I've got a Corolla myself. Did you try the window reset procedure? Sometimes after a battery change, the window regulator needs to be re-initialized. I had a similar problem - are you sure the error memory only shows the window regulator?

I tried holding the window button down for a few seconds, but nothing happened. What exactly do you mean by 're-initialized'? And yeah, the error message seems pretty specific to the windows.

By re-initialized, I mean the car's computer needs to relearn the window's upper and lower limits. It can be quite the headache! If the basic reset isn't working and you're getting specific error codes, I honestly suggest taking it to a workshop. There may be something wrong with the Can Bus or the regulator itself. It could save you a lot of frustration.
