Corsa engine misfires
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Vauxhall Corsa with a gasoline engine is experiencing rough idling, jerking during acceleration, and a loss of power, with a check engine light indicating combustion misfires. The initial suspicion was a faulty fuel injector. Another suggestion was to check the ignition coil first. Ultimately, the issue was confirmed to be a defective fuel injector, which was replaced, resolving the problem.

Thanks for the tip! Was your issue consistent, or did it come and go? And did you notice any difference in fuel consumption?

Mine was pretty consistent once it started. Didn't really notice any change in fuel consumption, to be honest. I'd get it checked out by a workshop if the problem persists. Could save you a lot of time and hassle.

Thanks for the advice! I had it looked at, and you were right to be skeptical of my initial diagnosis. Turns out it was a defective fuel injector after all. Cost me 515€ to get it sorted, but at least it's running smoothly again.

I had something similar happen with my Corsa. Check engine light, rough idle, the whole shebang. I'd start by looking at the ignition coil before jumping to fuel injectors, though.
