Corvette Passenger Seat Electrical Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Chevrolet Corvette is experiencing an issue where the passenger electric seat won't adjust, and an error is stored in the memory. Despite the seat switch and harness appearing fine, a heavily discharged or defective battery is suspected as the cause. Replacing the battery and clearing the error codes resolved the issue, confirming that low voltage can affect the seat control module.

The battery is a few years old, but tests okay with a multimeter. What exactly was the symptom you experienced with your passenger seat?

Identical symptom: error memory, seat adjustment not possible. After some diagnostics, the workshop confirmed it was indeed the battery causing the issue. They replaced it, cleared the codes, and everything's been fine since. They suggested the voltage drop scrambled the seat control module.

Appreciate the insight! Took it to a shop, and you were spot on. New battery and a diagnostic check – 290€ all in. Cleared the codes, and the seat works perfectly again. Thanks!

I had something similar happen in my Corvette. Is the battery relatively new, or could it be the original? Low voltage can cause all sorts of weird electrical gremlins.
