CR V engine mount faulty connection
Summary of the thread
A 2014 Honda CR-V owner experienced rough idling and an error code, suspecting a defective engine mount due to a faulty cable or plug connection. Another person suggested checking the transmission mount as well, as a failed mount can stress others. The issue was confirmed by a workshop, which identified the engine mount and faulty connection as the problem, leading to a successful repair.

Good point. I'll give the transmission mount a look. When you had the issue, was it obvious on visual inspection, or did you have to do more digging?

Visual inspection didn't really show anything. Had to get it on a lift and poke around. Honestly, just take it to a workshop. It's worth the money to get it diagnosed properly.

Thanks for the advice. Indeed, the workshop confirmed it was the engine mount and a faulty connection as suspected. Repair cost me 95€. All sorted now!

I had a similar issue on my CR-V. Is it shaking a lot at idle? Check the other mounts too, especially the transmission mount. Sometimes a failed mount puts extra stress on the others.
