CR V preheating lamp issue

Yeah, I gave the connections a look, but nothing obvious jumped out. Where exactly on the heating module should I be focusing my attention? Any specific pins or wires that are prone to causing problems?

Honestly, I can't recall the exact pins. My issue was a corroded connector. Best bet, take it to a shop. They can diagnose it properly. I wasted too much time poking around myself.

Appreciate the input. Sounds like I'll bite the bullet and take it in. Turns out it was the preheating control unit itself as suspected. Cable/plug connection was indeed defective. Cost me 95€, but at least it's sorted.

Sounds familiar. I had something similar happen on my CR-V a while back. Have you checked the connections to the heating module itself? Those can sometimes get corroded or loose.
