CR Z headlight range control fault

I've got a 2013 Honda CR Z, hybrid engine, with about 74k km on it. I'm getting a headlight range control fault. Error's stored, warning light's on the dash, and the low beams are either pointing way too high or low. Any ideas?

Summary of the thread

A 2013 Honda CR Z is experiencing a headlight range control fault, with the low beams misaligned and a warning light on the dashboard. The issue is likely due to a defective servomotor within the headlight assembly, especially since the vehicle has an auto-leveling lighting system. The recommended solution is to inspect and potentially replace the servomotor, which may require professional assistance due to its integration into the headlight assembly.

I had a similar problem with my CR Z. Check the servomotor in the headlight. Could be defective. Also, inspect the control module and electrical connectors. Is the lighting system auto-leveling?

Servomotor, huh? Where is that located, and is it a pain to get to? And yes, it's supposed to have auto-leveling.

Yeah, it's integrated into the headlight assembly itself. Not super easy. Given the auto-leveling, could be the module itself failing. I ended up taking mine to a workshop; turned out to be the servomotor as suspected. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. Turns out it was indeed a defective servomotor. Cost me 1040€ at the workshop. Appreciate the insight.
