Creta climate control unresponsive
Summary of the thread
The climate control panel in a 2016 Hyundai Creta diesel is unresponsive, with errors indicating low heating output and non-functional AC. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection. Suggestions include checking the temperature sensor, power supply, and inspecting electrical connectors and wiring harness related to the climate control. The issue was resolved by fixing a faulty connector, confirming the initial suspicion.

Thanks for the hint. Were the symptoms exactly the same, and which electrical connectors did you mean in particular? The heating output being too low is what confuses me the most.

Yes, the symptoms were identical – AC not working, weak heat. After probing, I brought mine to a workshop. They located a faulty connector, fixed it quickly, and I was back on the road. Might save you time and frustration.

Understood, I appreciate the confirmation. I'll check the easily accessible connectors, but if it's more involved, I'll head to the workshop. Turns out you were right, it was a defective plug connection, costing me 95€.

I had a similar problem with my Creta. Have you checked the temperature sensor and power supply? I would inspect the electrical connectors and wiring harness related to the climate control. A loose connection can cause havoc.
