Crew Central Locking Failure

Right, so my 2007 Nissan Crew diesel is playing up big time. The central locking has gone completely kaput. I can't lock or unlock the doors with the key fob or manually. The doors just won't budge! I even scanned it and there's an error stored in the error memory. Checked the fuse box, but everything seems fine. What a nightmare! Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my Crew. Check the cable and plug connections to the central locking. Those things are pretty flimsy. Could be a bad connection there.

Cheers for the tip! Where exactly are these cable and plug connections located? Are they easy to get to, or am I going to have to take half the car apart?

They're usually near the door control module. Honestly, unless you're pretty confident with car electrics, it might be worth just taking it to a workshop. I spent ages fiddling with mine before I gave up.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm going to book it in. Cost me 95€, turns out the cable or plug connection was indeed defective. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
