Crider AC failure
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda Crider hybrid with 95,147 km has an AC system that stopped cooling, with no noise or compressor engagement. The issue might be due to defective individual valves. Despite checking the AC switch and fuses, the problem persists. A similar case was resolved by taking the car to a workshop, suggesting professional repair as the best solution.

No, there weren't any unusual noises beforehand. It just stopped working suddenly. When you say 'exact same problem,' do you mean the AC system also failed to switch on at all? How did you solve it?

Yep, same symptoms. AC wouldn't switch on whatsoever. Honestly, I tried a few things, but nothing worked. In the end, I took it to a workshop, and they sorted it out. Saved me a massive headache. I'd advise you to do the same.

Thanks for confirming. I appreciate the advice. It seems like a workshop visit is the best course of action. Just got the bill, 1000€ for replacement valves in the AC.

Wow, that sounds familiar! I had almost the exact same problem with my Crider a while back. The AC just quit. I remember checking the pressure switch, but that seemed fine. Was yours making any weird noises before it died, like a hissing?
