Crider Defrost Air Flap Issue

I'm having trouble with the defrost air distribution flap on my 2017 Honda Crider with a gasoline engine. It has about 90200 km on it. There's an error code, and the heating isn't great. I checked the blower motor, but I think it's the HVAC temperature regulation. Has anyone else had this?

Summary of the thread

A 2017 Honda Crider is experiencing issues with the defrost air distribution flap, leading to poor heating and an error code. The problem may be related to the HVAC temperature regulation, possibly due to a defective cable, plug connection, or a non-responsive defrost flap motor. It is recommended to use a diagnostic scanner at a trusted workshop to accurately identify and resolve the issue.

I have a similar Crider. Sounds like a defective cable or plug connection. Have you checked the fuses and relays? Also, what's the error code? That would help narrow it down.

Can you tell me more about the cable and plug connection? Did you fix it yourself, or did you need a service center? What helped you find the problem?

My local workshop used a diagnostic scanner and found the defrost flap motor wasn't responding. HVAC issues can be hard to diagnose without the right tools, and you don't want to damage anything. Considering the repair cost might be around 95€, I'd suggest a trusted workshop.

Thanks for the advice. I'll book an appointment with a technician. I'll post the solution here for others.
