Crider Gear Selection Issue
Summary of the thread
The 2015 Honda Crider is experiencing issues with gear selection not displaying on the speedometer, cruise control malfunctioning, and intermittent starting problems. These symptoms suggest a potential problem with the clutch pedal switch, which could also involve defective cables or plugs. A similar case was resolved by replacing the clutch pedal switch, and it is recommended to have the switch and wiring checked at a workshop.

It's totally blank. No gear selection shown at all on the speedometer. Did you figure out what was causing it?

Yeah, it turned out to be the clutch pedal switch. Apparently, it's a safety thing, and when it goes bad, it messes with the starting and cruise control. Because you said the starting is sometimes impacted, it might be the same for you. Honestly, I would just take it to a workshop and have them check the switch and the wiring. The bill was about 95€ at my local shop.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I'll get it checked out and let you know how it goes. Sounds like it's exactly the same problem.

Interesting. I had something similar happen in my Crider. Does the gear selector display anything at all, or is it just blank? Mine would intermittently go out, and the cruise control was dead too. Never had the starting issue though. Could be the same thing.
