Crider NOx Sensor Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Honda Crider Hybrid owner experienced a check engine light due to a NOx sensor failure and suspected a defective cable or plug connection. The issue was linked to an exhaust leak and potential air-fuel ratio fluctuations. After consulting with others who had similar issues, it was suggested to check for corroded connections. The problem was resolved at a workshop by addressing the corroded connection, confirming the sensor itself was not faulty.

Interesting. So, the air-fuel ratio fluctuations are related? What was the cause for your emission sensor problem? My diagnostic tool points towards the NOx sensor, but I'm not sure whether to just replace it.

Yep, that's how it started for me. Replacing the sensor didn't fix it – turned out to be a corroded connection. Best to get it checked at a workshop, could save you some cash and time.

Thanks for the insight! I went to the workshop. They found the same thing - corroded connection. The NOx sensor itself was fine, and the whole repair was only 95€. Appreciate the advice!

Hey! That sounds frustrating. I had a similar ordeal with my old Opel Astra – also emission sensor related. The check engine light was driving me nuts. I got a nitrogen oxide error code too... Was your air-fuel ratio all over the place?
