Croma Fog Sensor and AC Problems
Summary of the thread
A 2010 Fiat Croma is experiencing issues with a malfunctioning fog sensor, inoperable AC, frozen spray nozzles, and non-functional mirror heating. Diagnostics suggest a potential cable or plug issue. A similar case was resolved by addressing a faulty connector on the fog sensor harness. It is recommended to have the vehicle professionally diagnosed and repaired to avoid further complications.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I checked the fuses and relays; they seem fine. I haven't tried sensor recalibration. Could you tell me more about the recalibration you did? Was it easy, or did it require special tools?

If fuses and relays are good, recalibration probably won't fix it. I was pulling my hair out trying to DIY it. I caved and took it to a shop. They found a faulty connector on the fog sensor harness. Honestly, for 95€, save yourself the headache and get it professionally diagnosed and fixed. It’s likely the same issue, and messing around could make it worse.

I appreciate the advice. Based on your experience, I'll take it to a qualified technician for diagnosis and repair. It's best to avoid making things worse myself. Thanks again!

Hey! I had a similar issue with my Croma, though I don't recall the exact year. Sounds like the same gremlins. For me, it started with intermittent AC failure, then the mirror heating went kaput. Did you check fuses and relays? Have you tried any sensor recalibration?
