Cronos Defrost Air Distribution Error
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Fiat Cronos is experiencing reduced heating output, with a diagnostic check indicating an error related to the defrost air distribution flap. The suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection. A similar issue was resolved by checking the blower motor, air circulation settings, and ultimately repairing a faulty connection at a workshop. The suggested solution is to have the connections inspected and repaired professionally.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

I did check the blower motor, and it seems to be working fine, as well as the air circulation settings. However, I am unsure how to inspect the air distribution flap itself. Could you provide more details about your experience and how you resolved it?

In my case, the problem persisted even after checking those things, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was indeed a faulty connection related to the air distribution. I'd suggest you do the same. The repair was relatively inexpensive, around 95€.

Thanks! Knowing that someone else has experienced a similar problem and that it can be resolved relatively easily is reassuring. I will take it to a workshop as you suggested and have the connections checked. Hopefully, it will solve the issue.

I own a Cronos as well, and I recall a similar issue a while back. The air distribution was acting strangely, and the heating wasn't as effective. Have you checked the blower motor and air circulation settings? It might be a simple fix.
