Cronos headlight issue
Summary of the thread
The 2019 Fiat Cronos is experiencing a headlight issue where the lights turn on randomly, even when the car is off. A scan revealed a generic lighting fault, and the fuses are fine, suggesting the problem might be with the light switch or a corroded connector. A similar case was resolved by replacing the faulty light switch and fixing a corroded connector, which was confirmed and fixed by a mechanic.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Interesting! You had the same thing? I did a quick visual inspection of the light switch connector, but didn't see anything obviously wrong. Where exactly should I be looking for a bad cable? Maybe there's a common spot?

Yeah, that's exactly what was happening to mine. Honestly, I messed with it for an afternoon and got nowhere. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. Turned out to be a faulty light switch and a corroded connector, which the mechanic sorted pretty quickly. Cost me 95€, parts and labor included.

Thanks for the advice! I was hoping it was something simple, but it sounds like a trip to the mechanic is in order. I appreciate you sharing your experience – at least now I have an idea of what to expect. They confirmed what you said – faulty light switch plus a corroded connection. All fixed now!

That sounds frustrating. I had a similar issue with my Cronos a while back. The headlights would flicker and sometimes the dashboard lights went haywire too. Did you check the cable and plug connection?
