Cronos Mass Air Flow Sensor Issues
Summary of the thread
The 2019 Fiat Cronos experienced high fuel consumption, stalling at idle, a check engine light, and smoke from the exhaust, leading to suspicion of a faulty mass air flow sensor. A similar case confirmed that replacing the sensor resolved the issues. A workshop diagnosis verified the sensor fault, and after replacement, the car's performance improved significantly.

Was it a complete sensor failure, or were there intermittent readings beforehand? Did replacing the sensor fix everything?

Replaced the sensor and it fixed the stalling and check engine light. I'd recommend a workshop visit for a proper diagnosis.

The workshop confirmed the mass air flow sensor was faulty. The repair was 365€, including parts and labor. The car runs smoothly now! Thanks for the help.

I had similar symptoms with my Cronos. Check the mass air flow sensor. Could be the culprit.
