Summary of the thread
A 2017 Fiat Cronos owner experienced a malfunction with the multifunction steering wheel, which stopped working entirely and stored an error in the memory. The issue was identified as a defective cable connection within the steering wheel. The suggested solution was to have it professionally repaired, which resolved the problem.

The horn still works, thankfully. But the radio controls and the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel don't respond. When you say "bad connection," do you mean a sensor issue, or something related to the control module?

Yeah, the horn working is a good sign, maybe your connectivity problem is slightly different. In my case, the workshop mentioned something about the cable connection in the steering wheel being defective. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it yourself. Just take it in.

Thanks for the info. Dropped it off at the workshop, and you were spot on. Apparently the cable connection was indeed defective, and repair cost was 95€. Sorted now!

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a Cronos too, and I had something similar happen a while back. Does the horn still work? Mine didn't, and it turned out to be a bad connection somewhere in the steering column. Was super annoying.
