Cronos Start Stop Problems
Summary of the thread
The 2022 Fiat Cronos is experiencing issues with its start-stop system, including engine shutdowns while driving and warning lights. A potential cause could be a bad battery, as these systems are sensitive to voltage drops, which can also affect the starter motor. It is recommended to have the battery and starter motor checked at a workshop to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Thanks! I'm not very technical. Are the starter motor and battery connected to the automatic restart failing? What happened with your Megane?

Yeah, low voltage can mess with the start-stop and the starter motor. The system needs enough juice to restart the engine quickly. With the Megane, it was a bad battery. Get it checked at a workshop; they'll diagnose it properly.

Thanks so much for the advice and sharing your Megane experience! I'll take it to a workshop and have the battery and starter motor checked. I'm feeling better knowing it's probably just a battery issue. I'll let you know what happens!

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue on my old Renault Megane. Start-stop went bonkers. Check your car battery first; these systems are sensitive to voltage drops. Could also be the starter motor.
