Thanks. Where exactly should I be looking for the cable and plug connections related to the flap motor? Is it easily accessible, or will I need to remove dashboard components? Could a problem with the air circulation or temperature regulation system be the cause?

In my Volvo, the connection was accessible after removing the glove box. Given the differences between our cars, I can't guarantee it's the same for your Vauxhall. Best to take it to a workshop. The error memory should indicate the exact location. From what you describe it sounds like it could be cable or plug connection of the component defective

Thanks for the advice. I took the Crossland X to a local garage. It was indeed a defective plug connection, just as you suggested. Repair cost 95€. Now it works perfectly again!

I had a similar problem with my 2018 Volvo V60. Error stored in the error memory, and insufficient heating. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the flap motor? A defective connection was the culprit in my case. Worth checking before assuming a major component failure.
