Crossland X Engine Stalling

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my 2018 Vauxhall Crossland X, gasoline engine, with 111537 km on the clock. The check engine light keeps popping up, and sometimes the engine just stalls when I'm idling. I've read it could be related to a fuel tank ventilation system leak. Has anyone else had similar issues? Could it be the activated charcoal filter? I've checked the pressure sensor and purge valve, but everything seems okay visually.

Sounds familiar. I have a Crossland and had similar problems. Check engine light plus stalling. It could be system failure related to air flow or issues with the fuel tank. Have you looked at the activated charcoal filter?

Yeah, I did give the charcoal filter a look-over, but honestly, I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for. What exactly was wrong with yours? Was it visibly damaged, or did you need to test it somehow?

Mine looked okay too, no visible damage. But the workshop guys told me it was defective and causing a leak in the fuel tank ventilation system. They said it's a common issue. I would recommend taking it to a professional. They will diagnose system failure with the right tools.
