Crossland X Windshield Wipers Not Working

Thanks for the quick reply! I had a quick look at the wiring, but I didn't really check it thoroughly. How would I test the voltage at the connector? I'm not that experienced with electrical stuff, but I do have a multimeter. And where exactly should I be looking for the wiper switch connection?

Alright, I understand. Given your level of experience and the potential for electrical gremlins, I would strongly advise against probing around with a multimeter without proper guidance. You could risk causing further damage or injury. Considering the error code and the symptoms, and the fact that you've already checked the fuses, it's highly probable that the issue lies within the wiring harness or the wiper motor itself. At this point, and with a repair cost estimated around 95€, I would recommend taking it to a qualified workshop to have it properly diagnosed and repaired. They'll have the right tools and expertise to pinpoint the problem accurately and safely. It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to electrical systems!

Thanks a lot for your advice! I think you're right, it's best to leave this one to the professionals. I'll book it in at a local garage and let them sort it out. Hopefully, it's just a simple wiring issue. I'll post what the problem was once I know.

Greetings! Sounds like a frustrating situation with your Crossland X. Given the error code and your description, it certainly points to an electrical issue. Before condemning the wiper motor, have you had a close look at the wiring harness and plug connections leading to the motor and the wiper switch? A faulty connection there could easily cause the symptoms you're experiencing. Perhaps a bit of corrosion or a loose wire? Are you comfortable testing the voltage at the wiper motor connector when the switch is activated?
