CrosslandX Air Suspension Failure

My 2023 Vauxhall CrosslandX diesel is giving me grief. It's got 232174 km on the clock. The air suspension seems to have gone kaput. The vehicle won't lift anymore, it's leaning to one side, and I'm getting error messages popping up. Ride's bone-jarringly bumpy now. I suspect it's the bellows valve. Anyone else had this?

Whoa, sounds familiar! I've got a CrosslandX too, and had similar symptoms. Bumpy ride from hell, the whole shebang. Did you check for any stored error codes? Mine threw a code pointing directly to the air suspension system. Although, I didn't notice leaning... Were you able to inspect the valve yourself? Any signs of damage or leaks?

Yeah, I scanned it and there's definitely an error stored related to the suspension. I haven't had a proper look at the valve itself yet. Where exactly is it located and is it easy to get to on the CrosslandX? I'm not sure if it requires special tools to get it out.

Right, if the error code points to the suspension, it's almost certainly a defective air bag valve. Location... well, it's tucked away near the air spring itself, part of the whole assembly. Getting to it wasn't exactly a walk in the park; needed to remove some wheel arch liner. You might be able to manage it yourself if you're mechanically inclined, but honestly, given the symptoms and error code, I'd recommend getting it checked by a workshop. They'll be able to confirm for sure and replace if necessary. Probably your best bet!

Thanks for the advice! I suspected it was something along those lines. Looks like a trip to the shop is in order. I will post what happens.
