Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely check the resistor and wiring. Where exactly is the blower motor resistor located? Is it easy to get to, or am I going to have to pull half the dashboard apart?

On my Peugeot, it was tucked up behind the glove box, but I am not sure with Vauxhall, could be similar, though. You should be able to access it without too much hassle – just remove the glove box, if that's where it is. But to be honest, with an error code already stored, and the mileage you've got, it sounds like the motor itself could be gone. If the resistor and wiring look okay, it might be worth taking it to a workshop. I ended up paying about 250€ for parts and labor at the end.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I checked the resistor and wiring, and they seem fine. I think you're right about the motor being the issue. I'll book it into a workshop. They quoted me 365€ for the repair, which seems reasonable. Thanks again!

Hey! I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot 307 a while back. Symptoms sound exactly the same. Check the blower motor resistor, and the wiring to the blower motor itself. On my Peugeot, the resistor had burned out, but it also melted some of the connector. Have you checked the fuse for the blower motor? Sometimes, it's the simple things!
