The oil temperature reading does appear erratic. I will inspect the sensor connection for any signs of looseness or corrosion. To clarify, the oil pressure warning lamp is indeed illuminated, alongside the other symptoms mentioned. Could you elaborate on your experience with this issue?

Yeah, mine was showing all sorts of weird temperatures before the light came on solid. I messed around with the connector but it didn't fix anything. To be honest, I'd say just take it to a workshop. It's probably the sensor itself, and they can replace it quickly enough. Or maybe it's just low oil. A 'workshop' is a car repair place.

Following your suggestion, I took the vehicle to a workshop for diagnostics and repair. The issue was traced to a faulty engine oil temperature sensor, with a defective cable connection. The sensor was replaced, and the connection was rectified, at a cost of 95€. The warning lights are no longer present, and the error code has been cleared. Thanks again for your assistance.

Sounds familiar! Is the oil temperature reading going crazy or just constantly showing an error? I'd check the sensor connection first. Sometimes it's just a loose or corroded connector. 'Corroded' means it has rust on it. Are you sure it is the oil pressure and not just the oil level?
