CrosslandX Tire Pressure Sensor Fault

I'm experiencing a 'Tire pressure too low' error on my 2019 Vauxhall Crossland X diesel, even though the tires are properly inflated when checked with a gauge. The car only has 28134 km on it. A diagnostic tool shows an error stored in the error memory related to the tire pressure sensors. Could this be a faulty TPMS sensor? I'm worried it might be a flat tire, but I can't see any visible damage, and the air pressure seems fine. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Sounds familiar! I've got a Crossland X too, and I had the same thing happen. 'Tire pressure too low' message, but pressures were all good. Could be the sensor battery is dead. They don't last forever.

How did you figure out it was the sensor battery? Did you have to replace all the sensors, or were you able to determine which one was faulty? Also, about how much did it cost you to fix?

I didn't figure it out myself, honestly. I took it to a workshop. They diagnosed it as a faulty sensor and replaced it. I'd recommend getting yours checked out professionally.

Okay, I appreciate the advice! I took it to my local mechanic, and you were spot on - it was indeed a faulty tire pressure sensor with an empty battery. Had to replace it, and the total cost came to 280€. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
