Crossroad Windshield Washer Heater Faulty
Summary of the thread
The windshield washer heater in a 2007 Honda Crossroad is faulty, causing the spray nozzles to freeze in cold weather. The issue might be due to a simple fuse problem or more complex causes like corroded or loose cable and plug connections. A suggestion was made to check these connections, but given the lack of experience with car electrics, it is recommended to have a professional mechanic inspect and repair the issue.

Thanks! Where exactly is the washer heater located? I'm not very familiar with car electrics, so I'm not sure where to look for the cable and plug you mentioned.

Given your lack of experience with electrics, I would suggest taking it to a workshop. It could be a defective cable or plug connection, as it was in my experience, but it's better to have a professional look at it. I got charged around 95€ for the repair.

Thanks! I think I'll do that. I was hoping for a quick fix, but it's probably best to let a mechanic handle it. Appreciate the help in pointing me in the right direction!

Interesting. I also own a Crossroad, and I experienced something similar last winter. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the washer heater? That was the culprit in my case. Apparently, they can become corroded or loose over time.
