Crown rear window heating issue

The car starts fine usually, but now that you mention it, it did struggle a bit this morning. You think a battery could actually stop the rear defroster from working?

Yeah, I've seen that before. If the battery is heavily discharged or defective, the car might shut down power to less important features. Window demister uses a lot of power, so it would make sense. Get the battery checked, but be prepared for a thermal window replacement. A faulty heating issue usually incurs some cost.

Okay, thanks! I took it to a workshop, and you were right. The battery was almost dead. Replaced it and that fixed the heating issue. Bill came to 290€. Appreciate the help!

Hmm, interesting. That mileage is pretty high for a '23. Are you sure the battery is in good shape? A weak battery can cause all sorts of weird electrical gremlins. Is the car starting normally otherwise?
