Thanks! I haven't checked the oil viscosity specifically, but I did just have the oil changed recently. Could they have used the wrong kind of oil? What was the solution in your case?

Wrong oil viscosity is a possibility. But honestly, with those symptoms, especially the noises, it sounds like it could be oil pump failure or maybe even engine bearings. I ended up taking mine to the workshop. They found out my oil pump was defective. Cost me around 755€ to get it sorted out. Definitely get it checked out ASAP to avoid further damage.

Appreciate the insight! Looks like I'll be taking it in to the shop. I was hoping it was just a sensor, but a defective oil pump makes sense, given the symptoms. Thanks again!

Sounds rough. I had almost the exact same thing happen with my Crown Vic not too long ago. Did you try checking the oil viscosity? Sometimes that can cause low pressure if it's too thin.
