Cruze key fob battery issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Chevrolet Cruze owner experienced issues with the key fob, receiving a low battery warning and losing keyless access functionality. Despite concerns about the battery life given the car's mileage, both key fobs were found to have dead batteries. Replacing the batteries resolved the issue, restoring full functionality.

Thanks for the tip! The spare key doesn't work either. Do you think it could be something more serious than just the battery?

Ok, because in my case, I only had issues with one key. When both keys are showing problems, it could be more than a dead battery. I would go to a workshop before trying anything else.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I just got back from the workshop. You were right, it was indeed the batteries in both keys. Replaced them for 37€, and everything is working perfectly again!

Hey! I had something similar happen with my old Peugeot. The dashboard was showing all sorts of crazy warnings. Does the spare key work ok?
