Cruze transmission issues
Summary of the thread
A 2009 Chevrolet Cruze is experiencing transmission issues, with the transmission indicator and check engine lights activating. The transmission enters emergency mode, shifts poorly, and sometimes slips, accompanied by grinding noises. An error scan indicates a radiator oil pressure defect, leading to speculation about a faulty cable or plug connection. A similar case suggests checking the pressure sensor and cooling system, with a recommendation to consult a workshop for a proper diagnosis.

Thanks for the quick response. I was focusing on the sensor cable. Did you also have those symptoms? Was it definitely the sensor?

Yes, I had the same symptoms. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to properly diagnose the issue. Better safe than sorry.

Appreciate the advice. I checked the cable and it seems fine. I will schedule an appointment with a trusted workshop to check the pressure sensor.

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Cruze. Have you checked the pressure sensor and cooling system?
