CT200h Door Lock Failure

A 2021 Lexus CT200h experienced a door lock failure, suspected to be due to a faulty door contact signal. Initial checks of the fuses showed no issues. A similar past issue suggested checking the wiring harness and cable connections. Thanks for the quick reply! No, I haven't peeled back the rubber boot between the door and the frame yet. Was your issue intermittent at first, or did it just completely stop working one day?

Mine was pretty sudden, just stopped working. It could still be the cable, but in my case, it ended up being the plug connection itself. Honestly, unless you are really comfortable with vehicle electrics, I would take it to a workshop. It might save you a lot of time.

Thanks for the advice! You were right, I took it to a local shop, and the mechanic confirmed it was a defective plug connection. The repair cost was 95€. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar problem with my CT200h. It was a while back, but if I remember correctly, it also affected just one door. Did you check for any obvious damage to the cable where it goes into the door?
