CT200h Fuel Level Sensor Fault

I'm experiencing a fuel level sensor fault in my 2013 Lexus CT200h hybrid. The check engine light is on, and the engine occasionally stalls at idle. Diagnostic error memory indicates a fuel level sensor malfunction. I've checked for any obvious fuse issues related to the fuel system, but none appear defective. Mileage is at 201009 km. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Interesting. I have a CT200h, and I recall experiencing very similar symptoms a while back. Check engine light, occasional stalling – sounds eerily familiar. I assume you've already visually inspected the sensor wiring for any damage? Perhaps corrosion on the connector?

Thank you for the insight. Beyond the obvious visual inspection, did you perform any specific electrical tests on the sensor circuit itself? Or did you directly replace the sensor?

I didn't delve into electrical testing myself, truth be told. From my experience, such intermittent issues in hybrid vehicles can sometimes be difficult to reliably diagnose without specialized tools. If the error is constantly present, I would advise a workshop visit. I bit the bullet and took mine to a qualified shop.

Understood. I appreciate the advice regarding the potential complexity. I will proceed with a professional diagnosis. The workshop identified the fuel level sensor as faulty and replaced it. The total cost, including parts and labor, amounted to 52€. The problem is now resolved.
