CT200h Gearbox Issues

I'm having trouble with my 2012 Lexus CT200h hybrid. The paddle shifters don't work, the gearbox is slipping and shifting poorly, there are grinding noises during gear changes, the paddle shifters are slow to respond, and the gearbox sometimes goes into emergency mode. Also, there's an error code stored. The car has 212621 km on it. Could this be a defective transmission control unit?
