CT200h Ignition Error

I've got a 2019 Lexus CT200h hybrid with 147027 km that's throwing a 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' error. The engine won't start. I checked the battery, and it seems fine. I suspect a defective cable or plug connection. Any ideas where to start looking? I'm not very technical.

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I've got a CT200h too. Had a similar starting problem a while back. Did you notice any voltage drop warnings before it completely refused to start? Could be a flaky starter solenoid or even the ignition switch itself. Have you checked the relay switch? Don't rule out the wiring harness either, especially if you've had any rodents around!

Voltage drop warnings... hmmm, not that I recall. Where exactly is the starter solenoid located, and is there a simple way to test it? Also, which relay switch are you referring to? There are so many!

Yeah, without the voltage drop warnings it could be a number of things. Honestly, tracing electrical faults on these hybrids can be a real pain! To be safe, I would go to a reputable workshop. In my case the bill was 95€ for defective cable or plug connection of the component and now it works perfectly fine

That's helpful. I appreciate the input! I'll take it to a workshop and mention those possibilities. Hopefully, it's something simple like yours.
