CT200h Parking Assist Fault

I've got a 2020 Lexus CT200h hybrid with 103412 km on the clock. The parking assist has stopped working. The dashboard shows a parking aid fault, and the error is stored in the memory. Could be faulty wiring?

Summary of the thread

A 2020 Lexus CT200h hybrid experienced a parking assist fault, with an error message displayed on the dashboard. The issue could be due to faulty wiring or dirty radar sensors. After cleaning the sensors and confirming no recent damage, the problem persisted. A workshop diagnosis revealed a defective cable as the cause, which was repaired for 95€.

I had a similar issue with my CT200h. First, did you check all the radar sensors? Are they clean? It could be dirt blocking them. Also, any recent bumps or scrapes? Those sensors are pretty sensitive. When the error showed up, what exactly were you doing?

I gave the sensors a quick wipe, but it didn't solve the issue. I didn't have any bumps recently. By the way, where exactly are the radar sensors located?

On mine, the proximity sensors are located in the bumpers, both front and rear. If wiping didn't help, and you are sure that the sensors are not damaged, it's likely to be a defective cable or plug connection. I would visit the workshop.

I took it to the workshop. They diagnosed it as a defective cable with a repair cost of 95€. Appreciate your help!
