Wheel alignment was performed approximately 10000 km ago. While I appreciate the suggestion, the symptoms point more directly to a sensor malfunction. Could you elaborate on how the wheel alignment affected your Opel's steering?

Sure. After the wheel change, the car was pulling to one side and the steering was heavy, much like you described. I thought it was just the new tires at first, but the shaking started soon after. It turned out that changing the wheels had messed up the wheel alignment, and the car's computer was misinterpreting the steering angle because of that. The shop needed to recalibrate the steering angle sensor. My suggestion is to take it to a workshop to properly diagnose it. They will check the sensor's coding and alignment.

Thank you for the clarification and advice. I took it to a trusted workshop, and you were correct; the steering angle sensor coding was faulty. Recoding and recalibration, along with a sensor check, cost 195€. Problem solved.

That sounds frustrating! I had a similar problem with my old Opel Astra after changing the wheels. The symptoms were almost identical, though not on a hybrid car. Have you checked the wheel alignment recently? It might be contributing to the issue alongside the sensor.
