A defective cable? Seriously? Where exactly was this cable located? Was it difficult to get to?

Yeah, I know, right? Pretty annoying. I wasn't able to find it myself, so I had to take it to the workshop. They confirmed it, said it was a known issue, and fixed it for around 95€. Honestly, save yourself the headache and just let them deal with it.

95€? Ouch, but thanks, that's helpful! Took it to the shop, and you were spot on - dodgy connector. New connector and all is working fine. Cheers!

I've got a CT200h, but I can't remember the exact year. I had something similar happen. Have you checked the connections? I'd had the same symptoms: error stored, dash warning, and faulty light. It was a defective cable or plug connection, which, believe it or not, is super common.
